First, consider all review problems at the end of each chapter. Second, consider some of the sample exams below -- they were given by Dr. Robert Devaney (one of the authors of our textbook) in his Differential Equations courses in previous years. Therefore, they may contain material that is not completely appropriate for our course this semester. Remember that, as it is customary with sample exams, these exams are primarily intended to show the types of questions that may be asked; they do not reflect the composition or length of the exams for this semester. Nevertheless, attempting to solve these sample problems by yourself, in the time allotted, will provide you with a great way to measure your readiness for the "real thing".
Most of these exams contain one essay question. If you would like, you can see an example of a well-written essay by an actual student (Exam 1-1999, #4).
Note: Some of the samples contain images of scanned pages. Because of that, you may get some blank pages when printing the samples from your browser. As you should always do, preview the document before printing it (File | Print Preview...) and print only the pages you need. Be aware that some exam pages look better on screen than in print.
