Look carefully at the animation of a particle moving along the x-axis (be patient). The position of the particle is, therefore, given by a function x(t). Assuming the particle begins to move at t=0 and ends at t=5, sketch the graph of x(t) as accurately as you can.
Note: You need a QuickTime viewer to see the animation. If you read this in the lab, you should have seen the animation with no problems -- the viewer is already installed on all lab computers. If you read this at home, you may need to download the free QuickTime player for your Mac or PC.
If you wish to replay the animation, just click on the Play icon (the small triangle in the lower left corner of the movie screen). You can also drag the movie slider to view the animation at your own speed, but be aware that, in general, this changes the function x(t)!
