Mission Statement
The Florida Atlantic University Office of Donor Relations strives to build and nurture a long-lasting relationship with our donors. Our mission is to ensure a comprehensive, consistent and qualitative program of stewardship and special events that incorporate meaningful, personalized donor acknowledgement. We provide appropriate and timely updates regarding the status of initiatives with which each donor is associated, as well as steward gifts and funds to ensure proper and maximum resource utilization. Through these efforts, the Office of Donor Relations aims to encourage donor engagement, thereby strengthening ties to FAU, while demonstrating efficient and effective use of those funds entrusted to us. The events staff organizes a number of signature events each year, including University groundbreakings and ribbon-cuttings, gift announcements, donor recognition receptions and FAU Foundation meetings.
