SCHOLARSHIPS AND AUDITIONS

The TOPS scholarship program is sponsored by Bobb’s Pianos and Organs. Scholarships will be awarded by live audition on May 31, 2008. Students should be prepared to perform two pieces and must hand in a creative writing project. For more information and to schedule a scholarship audition, email coltman@fau.edu.

New TOPS students must attend a placement audition. Placement auditions will be held on June 7, 2008. The auditions are for evaluation purposes only. All students who desire to attend the TOPS camps will be accepted. During the placement audition, students will play one piece of their choice and then be asked to sightread an additional short piece. A short theory test may also be administered. Auditions are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, so call early! To set up an audition, email coltman@fau.edu.
