New College Level Academic Skills (CLAS) Requirement
The College Level Academic Skills (CLAS) requirement is part of Florida's system of educational evaluation/accountability and is mandated by Florida Statue.
Effective July 1, 2009, the College Level Academic Skills (CLAS) replaced the previous College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST).
A student must meet CLAS requirements or achieve alternate criteria to receive an Associate in Arts or a Baccalaureate degree from any Florida public institution.
Students can meet the CLAS requirement the following ways:

*Credits earned in any of the above courses through an approved credit-by-examination program (including AP, IB, CLEP, DSST, AICE, and Excelsior) may be applied toward the CLAS requirement.

PARKING
If you do not have an FAU parking decal you must park in the visitor's parking lot. This is metered parking. For more information regarding visitor's parking visit the Traffic and Parking page.
ACCOMMODATION
The FAU Testing Center willingly provides special test accommodations for all candidates who qualify for non-standard test administrations. FAU Students who believe they qualify for special accommodations should contact the FAU Office for Students with Disabilities for assistance with this process.
MAKE-UP TESTING
Testing & Evaluation is open for walk-in make-up testing for extenuating circumstances with prior approval from your instructor. Testing hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM for the Boca Raton Campus and by appointment only for the Davie Campus.
