The Division of Student Affairs is committed to encouraging all students to live lives of dignity and purpose.  The Division is creating an environment that thrives on individual success with community respect and understanding.  Our focus in Student Affairs is on student success. We want our graduates to leave their university experience with the knowledge and skills they need to enter the workforce and contribute to their communities. Thus, we work to insure that students engage in the experiences they need to develop as well-rounded citizens. There are opportunities for leadership development, community service, interpersonal skill development, and personal growth. Student Affairs staff members are dedicated and committed to making sure that our students take advantage of such opportunities.

The Division offers a wide range of opportunities for students to become active participants in this process, on campus and beyond. In every way possible, we want to enhance the overall learning experience of our students, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Our campus reflects a diverse student population, as well as diverse faculty and staff. Our intent is to assist students in developing and enhancing their interaction skills so that, as graduates in the workplace, they are able to collaborate on teams with diverse employees. We value the richness that diversity brings to a university environment, and we work to support students as they engage broadly in university life.
