Fountain Poem
Our President's mansion is successfully complete
Both beautiful and practical
An outstanding architectural feat!
Just yesterday the seed was sown And today the Baldwin dream has come true
The University Club is bestowed this honor Of presence on a campus made new.
The bronze fountain decided.
A spectacular sight
For all to view So beautiful and bright.
The wait was long and discouraging too
As a slow boat from Thailand made more than ado.
Never certain to whether we would see it for sure,
Our fountain is home and now safe and secure.
Every student, supporter, and grand honoree
Will remember us fondly as they visit and see
This magnificent sculpture.
A gift of hard work
The University Clubs' gift of generosity.
