MISSION
The John D. MacArthur Campus of Florida Atlantic University serves central and northern Palm Beach and southern Martin Counties with nationally recognized educational opportunities for a student population that is diverse in cultures and in goals for academic and life-long learning. The campus is home to the University’s four-year residential liberal arts and sciences Honors College. In addition, five FAU colleges offer upper division and graduate coursework to commuting students in psychology, arts and letters, criminal justice, social work, public administration, business and education. In response to the emergence of the region’s bioscience industry, the University is developing academic and research programs that take advantage of the presence of Scripps Florida on this campus. FAU in Jupiter offers the benefits of a small campus setting and the resources of a large public research university, while serving as a significant cultural and intellectual center for the community.
