- Airport or third-party wireless card installed
- Wireless card enabled (can be enabled from System Preferences\Network\ see footnotes)
- Click the Airport button in the menu bar

- Select Open Internet Connect
 - Click File and then New 802.1X Connection.

- In Configuration, select Edit Configurations…
 - Populate fields as follows:
 - Description: FAUsecure
- User Name: Your FAUNet ID (first part of your email address)
- Password: Your FAUNet password
- Wireless Network: fausecure
- Authentication: Uncheck all except PEAP. Move it to the top of the order

- Click Configure next to PEAP
- Enter your FAU Net ID
- Click OK to both boxes
- Click Connect. You are now connected to fausecure.
You will now be automatically connected when the network is within range. If ever in doubt, repeat the last step.  |
