AUTUMN BOAT CRUISE with Capt. Chop Lege and HBOI Scientist, Dr. Brian Lapointe. Afternoon cruise aboard “the Gator” on the beautiful Indian River Lagoon.  Boat departs from the Johnson Education Center at 2:00 PM for a two hour cruise. Cost: Friends: $40; Nonmembers:$50 (includes boat cruise, Autumn snacks & a birthday surprise!)

Friday, November 20
DAY TRIP to Long Shadows Ranch in Western Indian River County.  Group will meet at the Cracker Barrel restaurant on State Road 60 in Vero Beach at 8:15 AM to carpool to the Ranch.  Tour will include a “swamp buggy” tour of the ranch and a BBQ  lunch.  Limited space.  Reservations are necessary. Cost:  Friends: $35; Nonmembers: $45
