The following is a list of general FAU scholarships. Please click on the application link to fill out the application online (in .pdf format). Deadline to submit application to the Office Student Financial Aid May 1, 2008. Please note that the remaining scholarships have extended deadlines. If selected to receive any scholarship, applicant will be notified by mail on/before August 18, 2008.

FAU Memorial Scholarship (application)
Must be enrolled in the same college as the deceased student. Must also have at least a 2.5 GPA. Application must include a letter of recommendation from a FAU advisor or Faculty member. Deadline to submit application is October 3, 2008 by 5:00 p.m.

Faculty and Staff Legacy Scholarship (application)
This scholarship is awarded to qualified children and grandchildren of FAU current, retired and emeritus faculty and staff members. Applicants must be enrolled as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need. This scholarship is renewable.
Alumni Legacy Scholarship (Various Donors) (application)
This scholarship is awarded to qualified children and grandchildren of FAU alumni (former students who have earned at least 32 credit hours at the University). The applicants must be enrolled as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student at FAU and have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need. This scholarship is renewable. There is NO deadline to submit this application.
FAU National Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship (application, website)
Each year, the FAUNAA presents scholarships to full-time and part-time students from the FAUNAA Endowed Scholarship Fund. Both undergraduate and graduate students who have completed at least one semester at FAU may apply for these annual scholarships. The scholarships are awarded based on academic potential, involvement in civic, professional and educational organizations, and a commitment to becoming an active, participating member of the FAUNAA. Financial need is a consideration, but not a requirement. In addition to the FAUNAA Endowed Scholarships, the Association is privileged to oversee the awarding of the Andrew Todd Auster Endowed Scholarship (to honor the memory of former FAUNAA Board Member Darren Auster’s brother). In recent years, an additional scholarship -- the Harry Harmes Memorial Scholarship (to honor the memory of former FAUNAA Board Member Carole Kay’s father) -- was awarded under the auspices of the FAUNAA. Daughters of the American Revolution Indian Scholarship (application)
This award is available to members of Florida Indian Tribes. Must provide proof of Tribe Registration.
Dania Beach Scholarship (application)
This scholarship is open to admitted students to FAU with a primary address from the City of Dania. Students must also maintain a 3.0 GPA, enroll in a full-time degree-seeking program and demonstrate financial need. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study. Application deadline is June 25, 2008.
