It is maintained by the Department and it contains planning jobs that are compiled from other websites such as the Florida Chapter of the American Planning Association and Planetizen, as well as jobs that are exclusively posted here. We limit the job postings to jobs in Florida but include planning positions that are relevant for current planning students looking for an internship, as well as advanced planning positions that are of interest to our alumni. The City of Largo, on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Tampa Bay, is seeking a Planner. This position is responsible for providing analyzing requests for land use changes, collecting and analyzing data for the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Development Code and conducting site plan reviews of new development proposals. The selected individual will play a key role in performing research, preparing staff reports and development order documents and reviewing building permits related to planning issues.
