Dr. John H. Johns, Brigadier General, (USA, Ret.)
Dr. John H. Johns served as a combat arms officer in the Army for over 26 years, retiring as a brigadier general in 1978.  After retirement from active duty,
Dr. Johns continued to serve in the Department of Defense until retirement in 1995.  He served four years as a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Career SES 5) before becoming a professor of political science at the National Defense University at Ft. McNair.  Dr. Johns is a Ph.D. from American University (sociology).

Colonel William Locke Hauser (USA, Ret.)
A career U.S. Army officer (1954-79) before entering business, Colonel Hauser remains involved with the military as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, as a fellow of the Inter-University Seminar on Armed Forces & Society, and as a sometime consultant on officer development to the Department of Defense.  A graduate of West Point, he later taught there, including a term as a Fulbright-Hays exchange fellow at the University of Singapore.  He served with troops in the U.S., Germany, Korea, and Vietnam, holding Battalion command in combat in Vietnam and brigade command in Germany.

Dr. Jeffrey S. Morton, Professor of Political Science at FAU
Professor Morton holds the rank of professor in the Department of Political Science at FAU, where he has taught since 1994.  The author of three books and more than a dozen journal articles, Jeffrey Morton holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of South Carolina.
