Hear Kit as she swings some of the great Frank Sinatra hits, such as “Come Fly With Me,” “Summer Wind,” “That’s Life,” and of course “New York, New York!”  The smooth, mellow sounds of Nat King Cole hits such as “Paper Moon,” “Smile,” “Mona Lisa,” “Too Young,” “Unforgettable,” and “Route 66.”  Tony Bennett’s biggest hits, “Because of You,” “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” “Just in Time,” and “I Wanna Be Around;” Dean Martin’s “Everybody Loves Somebody” and “That’s Amore;” Perry Como’s hit “It’s Impossible;” Johnny Mathis’ mega hit “Chances Are;” the more contemporary sounds of Neil Sedaka with “Breaking Up is Hard to Do” and “Laughter in the Rain,” followed by Barry Manilow’s “I Write the Songs,” “Copacabana” and “Can’t Smile Without You;”  The light rock side of Stevie Wonder with his big hits “You Are the Sunshine of My Life,” “I Just Called to Say I Love You,” and “Isn’t She Lovely;” and Billy Joel with his breakthrough hit of “Just the Way You Are.”

Biographical Information:  Kit Stewart comes from a family of musicians and began her singing career at the age of three with her dad’s big band in Connecticut.  She attended the Helen Hobbs Jordan School of Music in New York City and at that time began working in a number of recording studios, performing as a “demo” singer for songwriters as well as performing as a back-up singer for T.V. and radio jingles.  In addition, she studied piano with the late Gay Mehegan of Westport, CT, who was protégé and wife of the late jazz educator, John Mehegan.  Settling in Palm Beach County, Kit began working with many of the talented musicians who reside or tour through the South Florida area.  Her latest endeavors include a concert series that spotlights some of the great female singers of our time, titled “A Salute to the Songbirds,” as well as a tribute concert to the great male singers titled “Mad About the Boys.”  Kit’s most recent CDs are titled “I Love Being Here With You” and “I’ll See You in My Dreams.”
