American Foreign Policy

Jupiter Lifelong Learning Society Distinguished Professor Award 2006
Course Description: Based upon the popular Great Decisions format, Professor Morton will analyze six distinct foreign policy challenges to the United States. Each lecture will include topic background, U.S. interests and foreign policy options.

Biographical Information: Professor Jeffrey Morton received his Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of South Carolina in 1995, specializing in international law. The author of three books and numerous journal articles, he is the recipient of the 2004 Researcher of the Year Award. Dr. Morton is currently a Professor of International Law and Politics in the Department of Political Science at FAU where he regularly teaches U. S. Foreign Policy and is Director of Peace Studies at Florida Atlantic University.
