Important SPRING-08 Registration Information

> Call immediately after faxing if you require verbal confirmation of our receiving your registration.

> Submit one registration per student, completing all information requested. All registrants must sign the form. Include a New Membership Application when you first apply for membership.

> Lifetime members [such memberships no longer offered] do not pay an annual membership fee; however, like all other students, lifetime members must pay the University Fee when registering.

> Students may submit forms with a combined payment. However, separate checks are required for member and nonmember registrations, since they may be processed on different dates.
Memberships are available [$30] anytime during the year.

> Nonmember registration processing will begin February 25, 2008.
> Registrations are processed in order of receipt and tickets are mailed promptly. Tickets for all registrations processed from one week before as well as during the term will be held for pickup at the LLS office or delivered to the first class.

> If concerned that your tickets could be lost in the mail, call (561) 799-8547 or (561) 799-8667.

> Ticket refund requests must be in writing, with tickets attached [Social Security number included if refund must be by check]; a $10 processing fee is charged. No refunds will be made after classes begin. Also, membership payments are not refunded, nor can the University Fee be returned.

> LLS reserves the right to cancel, and refund payment for, any course for administrative reasons.

> Payment for LLS classes cannot be prorated.

> Students may transfer during a term to any other class that has available seating, after completing transfer and class evaluation forms at the LLS office – and returning the original class ticket.

> The University Parking, Safety, and Maintenance Fee is a per-semester fee required by the University from every FAU student, payable when registering. The fee is used to maintain walks, security, lighting, and other safety items. For LLS students only, a parking tag is issued when fee is paid.

• The University Fee must be paid when registering for Fall and Winter Term classes.
• If the University Fee was paid for the Winter Term, it is not required for Spring Term.
• University Fee payment is not needed for one-day events.

> Evening classes only: additional parking is available in the Scripps lot east of the LLS complex.

> Students needing the assistance of a wheelchair, walker, or cane, should arrive at classes early, since there is no reserved seating.

> Guests:

• Guest is defined as anyone who has not registered for the course.
• Guests are always welcome in LLS courses after purchasing a $10 guest pass at the door – in cash [small bills only accepted] or check.
• Guests may attend one class during a 4-week course, two during 6- or 8-week courses; to attend more than the one or two classes cited, one must register for the entire course.
• Guests may attend one-day events by paying the full member or nonmember price.
• Guests who do not have a parking tag must follow guest parking directions.
• Guest Passes are limited for each class – first come, first served.
