SPECIAL POLICIES

REFUND POLICY:
1) There are no course refunds after classes begin.

2) There are no annual membership or university fee for parking, safety and maintenance refunds.

3) ALL requests for refunds must be in writing and signed. Requests must be received in the LLS Office before the date of the first class.

4) Class tickets must be returned to the office in order to process refunds.

5) A $10 fee per student per course will be charged for each refund.

The LLS Office reserves the right to cancel any courses due to administrative reasons, with full refunds to registered students. Refunds will not be issued for the reason “not receiving a confirmation and tickets.”

COURSE TRANSFERS AND CANCELLATIONS:
1) Transfers and cancellations must be in writing.

2) Tickets must be attached to written requests.

3) Request forms are available in the LLS Office, or use your Registration Information Sheet. A signature is required.

4) No transfers are allowed either on or between campuses for classes that are sold out.

ATTENDING EVENING CLASSES: In order to secure parking, which at times may be difficult, you are encouraged to arrive at your evening class one-half hour prior to starting time. Decals are required for evening classes.

CHECKLIST FOR REGISTRATION

1. Sign your check or credit card payment form on the registration sheet.

2. Check to see that the total amount is accurate, including your $14 university fee for parking, safety and maintenance. Spring registrations cannot be processed if this fee is not included unless you paid this fee in the winter.

3. Check to see that the registration form has your choices
correctly marked.

4. DO NOT pay annual dues if you are a lifetime member.

5. New memberships will be effective until June 30, 2009.

6. DO NOT PUT “MEMBER REGISTRATIONS” AND
“NONMEMBER REGISTRATIONS” ON THE SAME FORM.
A nonmember registration on the same form with a member will delay the member from being registered until nonmember registrations are processed starting February 18.

7. Separate checks must be used for students with different last names. (Only spouses may combine memberships and registrations on one check.)

8. Please be sure to complete the traffic department’s information request on the registration form and include the university fee as part of your total remittance to LLS if you are registering for the spring term and did not register for the winter term. The decal you receive will be in effect until August 21, 2008.

9. You MUST sign the registration form when making check or credit card payments.

10. Please be sure to include your ID# on your form.
