applicants must satisfy the same requirements

Submit
an application for admission to Florida Atlantic University and a $30
application fee (U.S. Dollars). Students
applying for Fall term are encouraged to
apply by
March 1. |

Submit
supportive documents required by the Honors
College. These include two letters of evaluation,
a graded writing sample, and a resume.

All
freshman, undergraduate transfer and second
bachelor’s degree seeking students
who completed all or part of their education
abroad are required to have their foreign
credentials evaluated by an independent
evaluation service. |
□ |
Submit
a detailed FAU
Financial Certification Form and bank letters showing specific
sources of financial support and the exact
amounts expected from each
source. |
□ |
Submit
a Health
Form to the University Health
Services Office attesting to the good health
of the applicant and purchase major medical
insurance coverage from the University.
Applicants must also show proof of conformity
to the Measles Immunization Policy of the
State University System. |
□ |
Applicants
with the American equivalent of fewer than
60 transferable credits must also submit
scores for the SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT in order to be considered for admission.
Most successful applicants will have an
SAT score of 1280 (CR + M only) or an ACT score of 29. |
□ |
Furnish
evidence of proficiency in English by submitting
scores on the Test of English as a Foreign
Language (TOEFL). The minimum required
TOEFL scores
for students are 550/213(CBT). |
