Alumni and students have a blast at the annual SURP Alumni Society Tailgate party!

For the second consecutive year, the annual SURP Alumni Society Tailgate party had a record turnout of alumni and students alike. On September 6th, 2008, the SURP Alumni Society hosted the event that showcased the many talents of the SURP alumni, the least of which is how to throw the best tailgate party of the year.  The grilling, chilling, and overall abundance of good times was so inspiring that the party was recognized as the “Ultimate Tailgate Party” of the game by Publix!  The $25 gift card award will no doubt lead to an even better party next year. 

Dr. Jaap Vos, Associate Professor and Director of the School, and Bill Nemser, President of the SURP Alumni Society and griller extraordinaire, extend their most sincere thanks to all of the alumni who pitched in to make the tailgate such a rousing success.  Next year can’t come soon enough!
