Guest Speakers Contribute to FAU Nursing Course
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL (September 2, 2005)- Several guest speakers will be visiting FAU's "Nursing Situations in the Community" course at the Treasure Coast campus, beginning Wednesday, September 7 with Florida State Representative Gayle Harrell. "It is important for the student to develop an understanding of the needs of vulnerable populations, as well as ethical, political and environmental issues." said course instructor Lynn Waser, MSN-RN."These guest speakers can help the students explore important issues and develop an understanding of professional nursing responsibility in community health." The class is held in the CO Building, Room 141 from 1 to 2:50 p.m.
