FAU Launches Experts Database

Searchable Database to Assist Media and Community in Finding FAU Experts

BOCA RATON, FL (September 16, 2005) - Florida Atlantic University's faculty and staff experts who are available for research purposes, as media sources and are part of a university speaker's bureau are now listed in a newly developed, searchable database. This database currently houses profiles of more than 200 faculty and staff members, and contains approximately 1,000 searchable keywords with additions to come.

The experts found within the database cover the full range of the University's programs, including the arts and humanities, science and technology, nursing, business, education, engineering, computer science, architecture, public affairs and more.
This database, which replaces multiple printed directories, is a free resource and will be immediately refreshed as new faculty and staff are added and as areas of expertise expand.
