FAU to Host Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for
FAU/Scripps Research Facility
JUPITER, FL (March 7, 2005) - Florida Atlantic University will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the FAU/Scripps Research Facility on FAU's MacArthur Campus on Friday, March 11 at 11:45 a.m., 5353 Parkside Drive, Jupiter. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be attended by community, research, education, government and business leaders.
The FAU/Scripps Research Facility is a $12 million state-of-the-art building that serves as the temporary home of Scripps' Florida-based researchers until a permanent Scripps facility is built. The location of the FAU/Scripps Research Facility allows FAU faculty members and students to work side by side with Scripps scientists on important scientific research projects in a relationship that holds great promise for FAU's development as a center of cutting-edge research activity.
