FAU Presents Bachelor of Fine Arts Art Exhibition
BOCA RATON, FL (March 29, 2005) - Florida Atlantic University's Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters presents the Spring BFA Exhibition, a group exhibition that includes the artwork of 24 graduating FAU seniors receiving their Bachelor of Arts degrees in Studio Art and Graphic Design. The exhibition will be presented in the Ritter Art Gallery on the FAU Boca Raton campus at 777 Glades Road from Wednesday, April 20 through Friday, May 6. The hours of operation for the gallery are Tuesday through Friday, 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. An opening reception with refreshments and live music will take place in the Ritter Gallery on Wednesday, April 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.
The Spring BFA will feature art produced in a variety of media including ceramics, photography, graphic arts, painting and sculpture. Each graduating senior artist will be present at the opening reception to field questions, give comments and welcome viewer remarks on all of the pieces in the show.
The exhibition is presented by the Department of Visual Arts and Art History in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters' School of the Arts with generous support from Publix, Laptop City, Butterfly's Are Free Nursery, The Hibel Museum, American Credit, Pepsi, Pearl Arts, Crafts & Gifts, Westgate Cabinets, the Bank of America, "The Palm Beach Post" and others.
