FAU Invites Community to "Rock That Breath"

BOCA RATON, FL (January 10, 2005) - Florida Atlantic University's Campus Volunteer Center, along with Students Advocating Volunteer Involvement (SAVI), have teamed up with FAU Owl Radio, St. Jude LIFE TEEN and Barrett Hapkido to host "Rock That Breath," an event to help raise money and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. "Rock That Breath" will be held on Saturday, January 15 from 1 - 5 p.m. in the Grand Palm Room of FAU's University Center.

This event combines martial arts demonstrations with local bands for an afternoon of music, martial arts, raffles and fun. Admission for the event is $5 for students and $8 for the general public.

The funds raised for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be used to promote quality care for individuals with Cystic Fibrosis, support nationwide care centers and help fund further research. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
