FAU Student Government to Host SunDance Festival
BOCA RATON, FL (November 19, 2004) - Florida Atlantic University's Student Government is hosting the 2004 SunDance Festival. The festival will be on Tuesday, November 23 from 5-9 p.m. at the Heritage Park Towers lawn on the Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road. The event is free and open to the public.
SunDance is a cultural festival displaying the uniqueness of FAU, one of the most diverse universities in the country. In addition to the prizes, giveaways and free food, the event will include a fashion show celebrating the diverse appearances of the world, belly dancers from the Middle East, story-telling dances from Polynesia and dancing styles from India's Hollywood, "Bollywood." There will also be a wide variety of musical artists playing, including Haitian, Jamaican, Irish and Latino artists, and a steel drum calypso band.
