FAU Ranks Nationally in Conferring Master's Degrees to Minority Students
BOCA RATON, FL (August 18, 2004) -- Florida Atlantic University was ranked nationally by Black Issues in Higher Education, a magazine published bi-weekly that focuses on education issues for African-Americans and other minorities, for conferring master's degrees to minority students. Overall, FAU was ranked 63rd for the number of master's degrees conferred to the Hispanic student population. For the 2002-03 academic year, approximately 89,576 master's degrees were conferred to all minority students throughout the United States.

Black Issues in Higher Education ranked FAU in a number of categories including:
