FAU Offers Government Courses in West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (May 5, 2004) - Florida Atlantic University will offer courses toward the Bachelor of Public Management degree (BPM) at a new West Palm Beach location beginning with the Summer 2004 term.
The introductory course for the BPM degree, Public Management and Administration (PAD 3003), will be taught at the West Palm Beach Police Station located at the corner of Rosemary and Clematis Streets. The class will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6 - 9:10 p.m., beginning on Tuesday, May 11.
Dr. Ray Liberti, West Palm Beach city commissioner, will teach this introductory course. In addition to serving on the city commission, Dr. Liberti is a former member of the Florida House of Representatives and has served as an adjunct professor at FAU for 15 years.
Prerequisites for the BPM program include an associate's degree or 60 hours of undergraduate credit.
