FAU Treasure Coast Campus To Host Open House
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL (April 5, 2004) - Florida Atlantic University's Treasure Coast Campus will host an open house on Saturday, May 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visitors can speak to knowledgeable faculty and staff to learn more about the campus' upper-division degree programs including: nursing, education, psychology, business, criminal justice, computer science, arts and humanities and social work. Representatives will also be available to discuss marine science courses offered through the unique FAU/Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution partnership.
Academic counselors will be available to provide information on financial aid and help visitors with a minimum of 60 credit hours apply for admission to FAU. To apply at the open house, visitors must bring official transcripts, a $20 check or money order and a completed application with them to the event. All those interested in continuing their higher education at FAU should attend.
"This is a great opportunity to get valuable information on the programs and services we offer and prepare for FAU's summer semester beginning May 10 and fall semester beginning August 23," said A.J. Chase, assistant dean of student affairs at FAU's Treasure Coast campus.
FAU's Treasure Coast Campus is located at 500 NW California Blvd. in St. Lucie West. The open house will be held on the first floor of the JU Building. For more information, call 772-873-3301.
