FAU's A.D. Henderson School Hosts Auction

BOCA RATON, FL (April 14, 2004) -- Florida Atlantic University's Alexander D. Henderson University School will present its annual silent/live auction, themed "A Taste of Henderson" on Saturday, April 24 at 6 p.m. in the Grand Palm Room of the University Center on FAU's Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road.

"This is our largest fund raising event and will be attended by people from both Broward and Palm Beach counties," said Angela Hibbert, chair of the organizing committee. "All profits will benefit Henderson students by upgrading computer systems, as well as providing other educational opportunities."

One of the more unusual items on the auctioneer's block will include a published author using the name of the highest bidder in an upcoming book. Additional items on auction are gym memberships at Gold's Gym, hotel accommodations at the Boca Resort Hotel, massages, jewelry and golf lessons.
