FAU Hosts Lecture by Eleanor Clift On
"Election 2004: What's at Stake in National Security"
Journalist/Political Commentator Participates
in FAU Presidential Symposia Lecture Series
JUPITER, FL (February 10, 2004) - Florida Atlantic University's "Presidential Symposia" Lecture Series presents Eleanor Clift, who will speak on the topic of "Election 2004: What's at Stake in National Security." The lecture will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2004 at 12:15 p.m. at the Abacoa Crown 16 Movie Theater, 4688 Main Street, Jupiter.
A well-known journalist, political commentator and author, Clift has covered the White House and Capitol Hill for many years. She is a regular panelist on the nationally syndicated TV show The McLaughlin Group, contributing editor to Newsweek and a political analyst for Fox News. Her political columns are posted daily on MSNBC.com and Newsweek.com. She is the author of War Without Bloodshed, Madam President and Founding Sisters and the Ninetheenth Amendment.
The "Presidential Symposia" is coordinated by Dr. Robert P. Watson, assistant professor of political science at FAU, and sponsored by the FAU Lifelong Learning Society. This is the sixth lecture in an eight-week lecture series. The series is held weekly through March 5. The cost for the lecture series is $55 for LLS members and $75 for nonmembers.
