FAU Honors College Presents Mystery Author
James Patterson
JUPITER, FL (January 13, 2004) - Florida Atlantic University's Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College Speakers Forum will present award-winning novelist James Patterson at a luncheon on Friday, January 23, 2004. The event will be held at Eastpointe Country Club, 13535 Eastpointe Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens.
James Patterson is one of the top-selling novelists in the world today. His debut novel, The Thomas Berryman Number, won the Edgar Award for the best first mystery novel. Several of Patterson's recent books have been adapted to film and were box office hits.
Tickets cost $50. Proceeds from the event will benefit the scholarship programs of the Wilkes Honors College.
