FAU To Host Presidential Inauguration

BOCA RATON, FL (November 10, 2003) -- Florida Atlantic University will host the inauguration of its fifth president Frank T. Brogan on Friday, November 14 at 2 p.m. in the University Center Auditorium, located on the Boca Raton Campus, 777 Glades Road.

The ceremony, which will include delegates from academic institutions from throughout the country and presentations from students, faculty and staff, will be followed by an open house at the Eleanor R. Baldwin House immediately following the ceremony.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will also feature President Brogan's state of the university address.

Editor's Note - The University Center Auditorium will have reserved seating for reporters and a riser for cameras. During the ceremony, cameras will be asked to remain on the riser, roughly 50 feet from the stage. Please bring appropriate equipment.

Cameramen/women will be escorted from the riser to the stage just prior to the investiture of the President in order to shoot footage/images from a closer proximity.
