DESCRIPTION: FAU's Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters celebrates the ancient oral tradition of storytelling by hosting storytellers throughout the year. Ayvar is a well-known bilingual (Spanish and English) storyteller with a large and enchanting repertoire. She is on the board of the Florida Storytelling Association.
