FAU'S School of the Arts Presents Piano/Trumpet Concert with
Heather Coltman and Brian Neal
BOCA RATON, FL (Sept. 24, 2003) - The new School of The Arts in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters at Florida Atlantic University presents two piano/trumpet concerts with Heather Coltman, Brian Neal and the FAU Trumpet Quartet. The first concert will take place Saturday, September 27 at 2 p.m. in the Liberal Arts Auditorium on the FAU Davie campus, 2912 College Avenue. The second concert will take place Sunday, September 28 at 3 p.m. in the University Theatre on the FAU Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road. The concerts are $12 and $15 according to seating, with group discounts available. FAU students, faculty and staff may attend the event for free.
The program will feature a diverse repertoire of works spanning the Baroque era compositions of J.S. Bach, as well as contemporary composers such as Jeremy Beck and FAU's own professor of music, Stuart Glazer. Trumpet fanfares will be performed by the FAU Trumpet Quartet, whose members include Leonardo Bacigalupi, Corey Whitaker, Miko Regis and Michael Pflug.
This performance is presented by the School of the Arts' Department of Theatre in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters at Florida Atlantic University.
