FAU Volleyball Players Teach P.E. Classes At Local Elementary School

BOCA RATON, FL (September 16, 2003) - Florida Atlantic University's volleyball team will be instructing four P.E. classes at Spanish Academy, a new charter elementary school in Palm Beach county. Instruction will take place Wednesday, September 17 from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. at Spanish Academy, 447 Spanish River Blvd., Boca Raton.

Spanish Academy instructs students in kindergarten through the third grade. It is the only school of its kind in Florida, as it teaches its English speaking students curriculum in both English and Spanish. Spanish Academy does not hold regular P.E. classes; therefore, FAU athletics has committed itself to providing student-athletes as a resource.
