DESCRIPTION: Three lectures include:
1. Paul Rashkind, Esquire, Chief of the Appellate Section of the Federal Public Defenders Office, will discuss the right to counsel as part of the 40 year anniversary of the landmark Florida case Gideon v. Wainwright.
2. Dr. Timothy Lenz, Associate Professor of Political Science at Florida Atlantic
University, will discuss the change from liberal to conservative thinking about crime, using images of law and rights in films.
3. Theodore Klein, U.S. Magistrate Judge-Designate, will discuss "The Anatomy of a Supreme Court Argument."
