UNIVERSITY CLUB WELCOMES FAU'S FIRST LADY

BOCA RATON, FL (July 18, 2003) - Courtney Brogan, wife of Florida Atlantic University President Frank T. Brogan, was the guest of honor recently at a luncheon hosted by Executive Committee members of the University Club of the FAU Foundation. The event to welcome FAU's new first lady was held at the Delray Beach Club. The Brogans recently became members of the Club and plan on attending many of the events planned for the 2003-2004 academic year.

Attending the luncheon were University Club President Alene Brewer; Gay Garlid and Cecile Kramer, vice presidents; Rhoda Holop, secretary; Barry Goldin, treasurer; and Jennifer O'Flannery, director of the Eleanor R. Baldwin House and special assistant to President Brogan.

The University Club helps to support FAU through fundraising efforts that provide for scholarships and for the University's S.E. Wimberly Library.
