FAU Releases Transition Document
BOCA RATON, FL (May 2, 2003) – After a month of research, interviews and campus visits, members of Florida Atlantic University’s Transition Team compiled their observations of the university and created a document that has been released to the FAU community.
The 19-page report addresses priority issues, which surfaced during the team’s discussions with FAU faculty, staff and students.
“I cannot say enough about the hard work of the dedicated Transition Team members, who utilizing the interviews of hundreds of people have provided us with a document of change for FAU for years to come,” said FAU President Frank Brogan.
The transition document, which is the end result of an evaluative process started by Brogan shortly after starting his tenure as FAU’s fifth president, represents a “snapshot’ of FAU and will be used to help propel the university to the next level of excellence.
