Jim Hightower To Lead 'Revolt' At FAU
DAVIE, FL (April 30, 2003) -- Best-selling author and political commentator Jim Hightower will present a lecture at Florida Atlantic University in Davie on Thursday, June 5, at 6 p.m. in the Liberal Arts Auditorium.
FAU is a stop on Hightower's U.S. tour of his new spoken word CD, "The People Are Revolting! (in the very best sense of the word)." Hightower - whose commentaries air daily on more than 100 radio stations across the country - will address "King George the W" and his push for empire, as well as the USA PATRIOT Act and Corporate "Globaloney."
