Dara Horn to Lecture "On Becoming a Jewish Novelist"
BOCA RATON, FL (March 13, 2003) - Florida Atlantic University's (FAU) Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters presents author Dara Horn with a lecture, "On Becoming a Jewish Novelist." Horn will be at FAU on Thursday, March 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wimberly Library, 5th Floor. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Horn's award-winning nonfiction writing has appeared in "Hadassah Magazine," "American Heritage," "Science," and the "Christian Science Monitor." She published her first novel, "In the Image," in 2002, to widespread critical acclaim.
Horn is a doctoral candidate in comparative literature at Harvard University. The lecture is part of "Kultur: A Celebration of Yiddish" at FAU. For further information, call 561 297-3750 or email yiddish@fau.edu.
