FAU To Host Informational Sessions
For Sport MBA Program
BOCA RATON, FL (March 28, 2003) - Florida Atlantic University's MBA in Sport Management Program will host three information sessions in April for individuals interested in obtaining a master's degree with a sports management discipline. The sessions will present information about the program, its curriculum, the business of sports, internships, admission requirements and more.
The informational sessions will be held at FAU's Fort Lauderdale campus, HEC Building, Room 1110 at the following times:
" Thursday, April 3 at 7 p.m.
" Friday, April 4 at 7 p.m.
" Saturday, April 5 at 11 a.m.
FAU offers the only American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited MBA in Sport Management degree in Florida. The program blends a rigorous business curriculum with a 12-credit specialization in which students study such topics as sport marketing, sport law, and the financial aspects of sport management.
The program is practitioner orientated where students participate in
out-of-classroom practical experiences at local and regional sport and/or entertainment entities. MBA Sport is geared for those who are or wish to become managers and executives in the business side of the sport and entertainment industry.
