FAU’s Henderson School Hosts Auction
BOCA RATON, FL (March 24, 2003) -- The Alexander D. Henderson University School will present its annual silent/live auction, themed “Flying With Honor: The Red, White And Blue” on Saturday, April 12 at 6 p.m. on Florida Atlantic University’s Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road.
“This event gets more popular every year,” says Henderson School parent Sally Markman, who is chairing the organizing committee. “Once again, a large and varied selection of items will be up for bid, including some surprises.” One of the more unusual items on the auctioneer’s block will include a published author using the name of the highest bidder in an upcoming book. Additional items on auction are a weekend at the Boca Raton Resort and Club, brunch at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, local artwork and a variety of other items.
Dinner and refreshments are included in the evening event. Advance purchase tickets cost $25 per person, or $30 at the door. To buy tickets or get more information, call 561-297-0491.
