The latest research in brain health is teaching lifestyle choices that may help stave off Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. “Keeping Your Mind Sharp” will address the difference between normal, age-related changes and signs that suggest a more serious memory problem like Alzheimer’s disease.  Information on how memory works, tips to improve memory and ways to protect cognitive functioning will be included.

This program is offered in recognition of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and is made possible by a Warren Lloyd Holtzman Seed Grant, which is a component of the Community Foundation of the New River Valley.
