BOCA RATON, FL (November 14, 2006) – Florida Atlantic University’s Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center will host two free public lectures by Dr. Barry Jacobs, one of the nation’s leading writers and educators on family care giving. Jacobs, a clinical psychologist and family therapist, will present the topics “Emotional Survival while Caring for Your Spouse” at 1 p.m. and “Emotional Survival While Caring for Your Parent” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21 at the Center.
Jacobs, the author of the book, “The Emotional Survival Guide for Caregivers,” holds faculty appointments at Temple University, the University of Pennsylvania and Widener University. He is the director of behavioral sciences for the Crozer-Keystone Family Medicine Residency Program in Springfield, Pennsylvania.
