BOCA RATON, FL (November 13, 2006) – Florida Atlantic University’s AIDS Committee will host a special program on Tuesday, November 14 at noon on the Boca Raton campus in the Live Oak Pavilion to commemorate World AIDS Day.
FAU student and actor/activist “Devin T.” Robinson will perform several of his unique monologues that educate the community about HIV. As founder and president of the AIDS Awareness Poets, “Devin T.” uses the performing arts to bring HIV awareness and the message to “get tested” to the community.
Winners of the FAU AIDS Committee’s student literary and visual art competitions also will be showcased, and lunch will be provided.
