Philip Myrick, vice president and director of the Project for Public Spaces (PPS), will speak on “Placemaking: Creating a Great Place to Live.” PPS is dedicated to creating and sustaining public places that build communities. Myrick will share his experience about what creates a great place, drawing upon his skills in open space planning, downtown revitalization, transportation enhancement and community involvement.
