FAU’s Wilkes Honors College
to Host “Rise & Shine” Breakfast
JUPITER, FL ( April 7, 2006 ) – Florida Atlantic University’s Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College will host a “Rise & Shine” breakfast on Tuesday, April 11 from 7:45 – 9 a.m. in the MacArthur Campus dining hall, 5353 Parkside Drive, Jupiter. Dr. Travis Lybbert, special guest speaker, will address “Governing Entrepreneurs: The Dynamic Nexus of Government, Business, Society and Technology.”
Lybbert holds a Ph.D. and a M.S. in Applied Economics from Cornell University. As an international development economist, his research interests encompass policy issues such as technology development and diffusion, intellectual property, agriculture and the environment and household poverty dynamics. Lybbert has worked for the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland and has conducted research in Morocco and India.
