Florida Atlantic University will commemorate Black History Month with a series of events to honor this celebration. The following events will take place at the university’s Boca Raton campus, unless otherwise noted:
What: “Loving Nappy as Resistance: Bell Hooks, Neo-Soul, and the Politics of Black Hair,” lecture by Sika Dagbovie, department of English.

MacArthur Foundation.
