FAU to Dedicate
Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing Building
BOCA RATON, FL (February 1, 2006) – Florida Atlantic University will dedicate the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing Building on Friday, February 3 at 10 a.m. near the green law in front of the Administration Building on FAU’s Boca Raton campus, 777 Glade Road.
The state-of-the-art, 75,000 square foot, three-story building was made possible by a $10 million gift from local philanthropist and business owner, Christine E. Lynn. The new facility incorporates a distinctive design philosophy, guided by principles of Feng Shui and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). In addition to an auditorium, classroom and seminar space, offices for staff and faculty, the building also features a holistic practice area, sacred space for contemplation and self-renewal and a healing labyrinth garden.
