ABOUT LICENSING
We work to protect and promote the use of Florida Atlantic University’s name and logos to enhance the image of the University and ensure that the public can properly identify and associate the logos with officially licensed products bearing the institutions’ marks. It is also the responsibility of the office to ensure the University receives the appropriate commercial value for the use of its trademarks and to actively deter their unauthorized use.
Florida Atlantic University requires that all individuals, organizations, departments and companies, both internal and external, obtain prior approval before producing any product(s) that will display FAU trademarks regardless of the method of distribution.
This site is designed for those who wish to license a product and learn more about the use of FAU trademarks and the licensing process, while providing general information about Florida Atlantic University licensing program. This formal licensing program is administered through our office in partnership with the Strategic Marketing Affiliates (SMA).
